The creation of your design vision through our comprehensive complete Interior design service.

How we work

We fully appreciate that this is an ever evolving holistic process and it is by working closely together with our clients that we gain a clear understanding of your needs and expectations and how we can assist, guide and support you in achieving your creative vision for your dream home.

Design Consultation

From our initial free design consultation, we work with our clients to fully understand your aspirations for the space, style preferences, budget and time constraints and the services you would like us to provide.

We will then discuss our ideas with you and provide you with a full client briefing outline together with a quotation for our services.

Design Concepts

From the design consultation we will then provide you with illustrations of our ideas through concept and mood boards, sketches, photographs and 3D visuals resulting in a bespoke design proposal for our clients.

We will also bring together the design elements of style, colour, scheme, lighting and layout and propose these to you with comprehensive samples of furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories to be incorporated within the scheme.

Design Plan

This is a refinement of the Design Consulation and Design Concept and gives you the choice of implementing the Design yourself or engaging Designs for Living to oversee and manage the Design Project on your behalf.

Implementation & Project Management

This phase is crucial to the successful realisation of our collective creative vision, and starts with detailed planning and thorough preparation.

Designs for Living can oversee the implementation process of the project through our strong network of local craftsmen and tradesmen, who are competitively priced, come highly recommended and work with great professionalism and attention to detail.

Through our relationships with leading furniture, fittings, paint, fabric and wallcovering suppliers, we can purchase these on your behalf at competitive prices. We are also happy to scour the salvage and reclamation yards, attend auctions and art fairs and browse flea markets and Ebay to find those unique ‘one-off’ pieces to complement your design scheme.
